Want to Learn to Climb?

 

Monday & Friday Night "Lesson Session"

If you’ve never climbed or been in an indoor climbing gym, this class is for you! This 2 hour introductory class teaches the basics of indoor climbing and belay technique. Graduates leave with the skills necessary to climb in the gym on their own and with their kids. The package includes day pass, rental gear, group instruction and belay certification. This is a great way to experience our gym for the first time or to introduce climbing to a friend. The class meets every Monday & Friday night, starting promptly at 7:00pm. We recommend coming early to sign up, fill out paperwork and get into the gear. This class is on a first come first served basis (we don't take reservations) and most nights, it fills up quickly! Kids 14 years and up are welcome, but must present an Alaska Rock Gym liability waiver that has been signed by a parent or legal guardian. Wear comfortable clothes appropriate for gym activities.
