Covid-19 Policies

  • Who can visit: We are now open to all users, including day pass users.  In order to maintain the required 6 feet of social distance between participant, we are still operating under a limited capacity and therefore are unable to allow spectators in the gym.
      • We are observing the current travel advisory for interstate travel published on February 14th, 2021 by the State of Alaska. Travelers into the state of Alaska should practice strict social distancing and self monitoring for 5 days and take a second test 5-7 days after arrival.

    • Please note: minimizing social interactions means that you may not visit gyms, movie theaters, or other social gatherings

 

  • Capacity limits: In order to maintain the required 6 feet of social distancing between parties, we are still operating under a limited capacity. Please check our live occupancy counter before coming to the gym.

 

  • Liability Waiver: Every gym user must complete a new liability waiver before climbing. PLEASE complete the waiver online before visiting the gym for the first time.

 

  • COVID-19 Orientation: Every gym user must be given a new COVID-19 Facility Orientation and sign a iPad certification before climbing.

 

  • Health Screening: In accordance with State and Municipal requirements, all visitors entering a fitness facility must be screened before entering the gym. This means you must honestly answer the following questions; if you answer yes to any of the following, you may not enter the facility.
      • Do you have any symptoms now associated with the COVID-19 virus; fever, headache, cough, respiratory congestion, body aches and/or chills?
      • Are you co-habitating with anyone who has these symptoms or has been diagnosed with COVID-19?
      • Have you traveled in to or out of the state of Alaska in the past 5 days?

      • Have you been contacted by a health authority about recent contact with a person who was subsequently diagnosed with COVID-19?
      • Are you in regular contact with anyone who is 65 years or older, or who has compromised health and may be particularly susceptible to the virus? If so, think hard about whether you should be entering and spending time in this gym environment!
