Everyone must check in and have a current waiver on file.
Orientation is required before climbing, bouldering or belaying.
Only UIAA-approved gear is allowed and must be used as the manufacturer intended.
Climb safely. Always be on belay if you’re off the ground in the roped area.
No street shoes, food or drinks on padded surfaces.
No horseplay, yelling, or roughhousing. Keep it respectful and safe for all.
All belayers are required to hold an Alaska Rock Gym top rope belay certification.
Both lead climbers and lead belayers must hold an Alaska Rock Gym lead climbing certification.
Personal lead ropes must be dynamic, UIAA-certified, between 9.4 and 10.2mm and 40m+ in length.
Climbers must self-inspect their personal equipment. ARG staff is not responsible for equipment inspections.
