Introducing: Summer Strong with Sarah Histand!

FUNctional fitness training for all your summer adventures!

Train for impact, lateral motion, posterior chain & core strength, agility, and injury prevention with Sarah's light-hearted training style that energizes and motivates.

Sarah's 1st 4 week training session starts the week of Monday, May 20th. In-person 45 minute workouts 2 times/week, AND access to Sarah's online portal with video workouts to add a third session per week and/or make up a missed class. 

Mon/Wed - 7:30am     or      Tues/Thurs - 12noon

$120 - 4 week session includes 1 Mth ARG membership + gear rental
$100 - 4 week session - ARG member price

Beginning Photography Clinic w/Sagar Gondalia & Keven Goodman!

Monday, May 20th;  7:30 - 9:30pm

Join these two pro photographers/climbers as they discuss the fundamentals of photography. Learn tips on setting up great shots and take your camera off that AUTO setting!

  • Thursday, May 9th, 7:15 - 9:15pm: Static Movment Workshop w/Hunter Wooten
    Learn to activate specific muscles to extend static climbing sessions in the "Flow State". Takes place in the fitness room and boulder area.

  • Thursday, May 16th, 7:15 - 9:15pm: Dynamic Movement Workshop w/Hunter Wooten
    Learn to activate specific muscles needed to make dynamic moves, and understand how to activate your fight mode for more efficient dynamic movement. Fitness room and boulder area.

  • Saturday, May 18th, Noon - 6:00pm:  Summit Strength Workshop w/Hunter Wooten & Ted Phelps
    Learn how the mind interacts with the body and how the nervous system can help or hinder specific muscle activation when climbing. Practice precise muscle activation & mental techniques to overcome barriers and climb through plateaus. Takes place in the fitness room and boulder area.
    $150 members, $200 non-members, $75 Climbing Team members. Space is limited, sign up at the front desk. 

Two Tuesday Wellness Clinics in May!

  • The Asymmetrical Climber with DPT Corina Carlson.  Tuesday, May 14th, 7-9pm
    Learn how climbers tend to favor one side of the body over the other. Movement and muscular imbalances will be discussed, along with ways to recognize and mitigate them.  
  • How to Warm Up/Cool Down with Dr. Dan Brandvold.  Tuesday, May 21st, 7-9pm
    Come prepared for a light workout, as this workshop is movement based. Learn techniques for pre/post workout routines that will reduce injury and enhance benefits of your workout.
