We believe that the work you do in the gym should support your life outside of it. We also believe that strength is the foundation of every journey, regardless of if you are a busy parent, weekend warrior, or an elite level athlete. And last, we do not confuse building strength with getting bigger muscles, and nor should you. Rather, strength should be used to increase mobility, endurance, resilience and stability. Whether it’s enabling you to run longer, climb a mountain, send your project, or pick up a heavy box on moving day without injury, ARG’s fitness classes will help.
We want to keep you out there doing what you love most, and our group classes and personal training will help keep those knees, shoulders and hips stable and injury free.
Our classes are designed to help you feel better and enhance your performance, no matter where you start!
ARG Skills – Join Hailey each Monday evening to understand and practice the basic movements that form the groundwork of our fitness programs. Learn the essentials of hinging, pressing, pulling and rotational exercises while becoming comfortable using our fitness room equipment. This class can stand alone as a great workout, and also serves as a launch pad into a greater understanding of our Strength and Endurance classes for beginning students.
ARG Strength – Be stronger, feel better; gear up with ARG Strength. Using four main movements: the push, the pull, the squat, and the hinge, we build long-lasting and sustainable strength. Our goal is to help you create a more durable and stable body, to see you through all of your adventures.
ARG Endurance – Go farther, go faster; with ARG Endurance our goal is to build your ability to work and play longer. We seek to increase your aerobic base and we achieve this by using shorter rests and lighter weights. Be ready to sweat and get your heart rate up, because this class will make you want to put it out there!
Functional Fitness – This class is about building you up not breaking you down. Functional movement, based on real-world situational biomechanics, is emphasized utilizing suspension trainers, weights, and your own body weight. You will build strength, coordination, balance and more efficient muscle recruitment patterns. All levels welcome.
