To all USAC Alaska youth competitors* who are trying to qualify for Ropes Regionals, you are invited to join us for the first-ever Top Rope and Lead Alaska Selection Event.
Depending on the age category, the top 2 or 3 athletes from each category for each gender will earn a spot to Regionals in Bend, OR, March 14-15, 2026.
*All competitors must have a valid USA Climbing membership at the time of competition. If an athlete qualifies for USAC Regionals through this event, they are expected to attend.
Check-In: 7:00 AM
Climbing Begins: 8:00 AM
Registration Deadline: Friday, November 7th, 2025
Running Order Published: Tuesday, November 11th, 2025
Route Videos Posted: Friday, November 14th, 2025, by 10 PM
The ropes event will follow the Flash Format, as detailed in the USA Climbing Rulebook and in our event’s Rules tab.

This year’s Pumpkin Pump included the USA Climbing Alaskan Regional Selection Event for Bouldering (AKSE). This event was for Youth USAC competitors seeking to qualify for Regionals.
The Alaska Rock Gym is dedicated to providing a healthy and accessible facility that encourages year-round fitness, wellness and community, centered around the challenges of climbing and climbing related activities.
Alaska Rock Gym is a firearm-free facility. Open carry is not permitted.
